    Hi all,

I am new to this forum so sorry if the question has already been discussed.

I am librarian in a small documentation centre in Rome and I would like to import the catalog from J-ISIS to ABCD. I created an .iso file in J-ISIS but I did not find any option to import. It seems that the only option asks me to import in already existing database, without automatically creating the database. Which mistake I am making?

    Thanks very much

    Francesco

Francesco, create a dummy database from the MARC db, then import your ISO file then verify, the sin-formato display in ABCD.
All these steps are done from the graphical user interface as the administrative user.

Thank you Peter for the answer.

At the moment I have created a new db copying the FDT of the old database and managed the import of the ISO file. I am fine-tuning all the component of the new db (FST and PFT), finding actually some errors in field searching (e.g I search a word in field A, but the system give me results also if the word is in another field).

    Thank you again. Best regards

    Francesco
