I noted that in the demo-databases the FDT for COPIES (and LOANOBJECTS) still don’t have the field ‘Inventory Number’ (barcode) using the ‘unique key’ validation technique. Since some time that check on the barcode being unique or not (based on yet or not being already in the Inverted File with the prefix IN_) is no longer based on the rather (unnecessary ?) complicated JavaScript checking for every key entered, but it requires the ‘unique key’ validation. Well that assumption needs to be checked first of course.

So  I suggest we distribute the COPIES.FDT with that already included. Same for LOANOBJECTS.FDT.
